Ralf Schiffertraschiff
As a native Bavarian, with a real Lederhosen Ralf started programming games and language learning programs as part of the Commodore generation. After working for a voice IVR company in Munich he joined a small startup in Illinois to displace traditional telephony networks with a new hardware/software approach. In the early 2000s he found his way to California for the then largest speech recognition company where he learned advanced AI skills within the real world constraints imposed by processing power and memory. After working for a CPaaS API company in S.F. he joined Cisco as a Product Manager for all things APIs. Ralf currently leads and influences 3 different scrum teams to deliver delightful, world class APIs within the Cisco collaboration network.
In his spare time his interests span from surf-skiing to biking to astrophotography where he currently leverages his M.Sc in Physics for a deeper understanding of the stars.
