Cisco is Selected as a Leader in Aragon’s Globe for Unified Communications and Collaboration for the Second Consecutive Year

In their 2019 Aragon Globe for Unified Communications and Collaboration, Aragon examined 14 major providers and recognized Cisco as one of the leaders in Unified Communications and Collaboration, ranking highly in both performance and strategy. Aragon’s evaluation comes in the midst of a transition from traditional on-premises based solutions to cloud based, AI-based offerings, and evaluates the entire Cisco portfolio – on-premises, cloud and hybrid solutions – unlike many other market reports. We believe this recognition reflects the strength of our strategy, portfolio, product roadmaps and our performance in execution.

According to the report authored by Aragon Research lead analyst Jim Lundy:

“With Cisco’s broad UCC portfolio and the Cisco Collaboration Flex Plan, enterprises have a range of options that combine on-premise, hybrid, and public cloud deployments, and the flexibility to mix, match, and integrate with services as the business evolves. Cisco offers one of the most complete sets of voice and video conferencing platforms that is now fully integrated with Cisco Webex Teams, its cloud-based team collaboration.”

Aragon stated “Cisco enhanced Webex with People Insights and facial recognition to provide more contextual and relationship intelligence, as well as Webex Assistant to enable natural language interactions with Webex Room Series devices as part of its new cognitive collaboration capabilities.” With these features, Cisco delivers global cognitive collaboration experiences across hardware and software offerings and integrated with enterprise applications.

Flexible on-premises, cloud, and hybrid deployment options
Aragon recognized Cisco’s range of deployment options that combine on-premises, hybrid, and public cloud deployments, and flexibility to mix, match, and integrate with cloud services as the business evolves.
