2019 – What a Year for Cisco Collaboration!

An Incredible Year for Cisco Collaboration 

It’s 2020 already? Wow, time flies when you’re busy and having fun, which certainly describes 2019 for Cisco Collaboration.  2019 was an incredible year and our team worked really, really hard to deliver more amazing technology and help customers leverage its power. So before we get on with 2020, I’d like to look back briefly at some highlights of 2019:

Innovation and Acquisitions

2019 was a very productive year for our engineering teams and they delivered a record number of new collaboration solutions:

  • Our EVP and General Manager Amy Chang introduced the industry’s first Cognitive Collaboration solutions.
  • Cisco Live announcements included unified experience and extension of People Insights across the portfolio
  • Single Platform Advantage, cloud calling innovations, new devices, and more introduced at Partner Summit
  • Cognitive Contact Center unveiled at Contact Center Summit
  • Webex security options extended without compromising user experience
  • New Cognitive Collaboration solutions
  • CloudCherry acquired to provide analytics, customer journey mapping, and survey capabilities
  • Voicea acquired to extend Cognitive Collaboration

  • 95% of the Fortune 500 uses Cisco’s collaboration suite
  • Webex product ratings up year-over-year as measured by G2

  • Microsoft – partnership to interconnect video conferencing solutions

I could go on and on but I know my blogs should be short. Suffice it to say 2019 was an outstanding year for Cisco Collaboration and we appreciate all the hard work that our team put in and the partnerships we have with our wonderful customers.
