August is a month for celebrating amazing Webex achievements

August is a time for those last of summer celebrations. And Webex has been doing a lot of celebrating this month! Over the course of just one month, our amazing Webex team has been dazzling the world with new marketing and product achievements.

Webex and integration partners light up Nasdaq Tower in NYC Times Square

So proud and excited for our Webex Marketing team when our beautiful logo lit up Times Square this month. We celebrated 61 of our integration partners on one of New York City’s most visible and iconic billboards, the Nasdaq Tower in Times Square!​ Can’t wait to see how our partnerships with them powers Hybrid Work for customers around the world.

Webex becomes collaboration technology partner of the PGA of Australia and WPGA Tour

We are super excited about the announcement this month of Webex by Cisco becoming the official collaboration technology partner of the PGA of Australia and the WPGA Tour of Australasia! The multi-year partnership with Webex by Cisco will enhance experiences for golf fans and strengthen industry collaboration. Webex technology will connect players year-round with mentors, media, fans and family, bringing them closer to the action no matter what part of world they live or work.

Webex powers virtual hiring days for Argent’s Back to Work Campaign

In August, Webex continues its partnership with Argent, LinkedIn and Times Up on a Back to Work initiative to help the two million women impacted by the pandemic get back into the workforce. This month, Argent has partnered with other companies in the Time’s Up Care Economy Business Council to host virtual hiring days and virtual events for women – all powered by and in partnership with Webex.

Webex August product highlights

The month of August was a busy month for our team, including new flexible and inclusive capabilities to refine meetings and events, intelligent customer experiences with integration of imimobile technology into Webex Contact Center, and updates to our ecosystem of industry solutions to reimagine and digitize workflows. The Webex team delivered hundreds of technology solutions to help our customers connect and collaborate effectively. Webex Contact Center Expands to United Kingdom

Super excited to announce that the all-new Webex Contact Center platform is now available in the United Kingdom. This new solution was rolled out in the US earlier in the year, Australia last month and will be rolled out to the broader European regions later in the year. Webex Cloud Contact Center gets nod from top industry analyst firm
Another round of applause this month for Webex Cloud Contact Center from industry analyst firm Frost and Sullivan. Frost and Sullivan named Cisco as a leader of growth and innovation in the North American enterprise cloud contact center market. The industry analyst firm identified Cisco among the top performing vendors in the Frost Radar™: North American Enterprise Cloud Contact Center Market, 2021.

This is another remarkable testament that further underscores our leadership. Only last month, we were proud to be selected by industry analyst firm Aragon in their annual assessment of the contact center market for 2021 in the Aragon Research Globe™ for Intelligent Contact Centers. For the third year in a row, Cisco (Webex) was identified as a leader.
