FY2023 has been a whirlwind of new experiences and connections for our Webex partners. In the last 12 months, we’ve gathered together in great cities on three continents, attracting bustling crowds of Webex partners, customers, and peers excited to transform the way people work and collaborate. From Las Vegas and Melbourne to Amsterdam and Orlando – and back again to Las Vegas – we explored what’s possible when we work together with one vision to create extraordinary results. For many of us sidelined by Covid, it was the first time in three years we saw each other in person. But the disruption didn’t slow us down as Webex partners eagerly embraced new opportunities to drive innovation and efficiency, from hybrid work and AI to amazing new solutions for transforming customer experience.
From the keynotes to the demo booths, every aspect of Cisco’s vision was on display at our FY2023 events, where Webex partners and customers delved into the latest solutions in hybrid work, sustainability, customer experience, and more – all of which are increasingly powered by generative AI.
During and after the pandemic, a growing number of businesses embraced hybrid work as a flexible, creative, and cost-effective alternative to the traditional office. Webex partners are right in the middle of the trend toward hybrid work, with apps and integrations that enable customers to be more connected and productive while nurturing creativity.
“Webex is hands-down the best platform,” said CEO Chuck Robbins at the Partner Summit in Las Vegas. “We continue to deliver more and more innovation. We have all of the tools and the most complete solution that we can deliver together with our partners.”
At this year’s events, artificial intelligence (AI) was on everybody’s mind – and for good reason. AI has revolutionized the way we work, making it easier, faster, and more efficient. Webex and our partners are leading the way in this new phase in the evolution of the workplace, where 98% of meetings will have at least one remote participant.
Cisco’s AI-powered devices and solutions are helping customers reimagine the workspace with great devices and software built to deliver amazing experiences. These include Webex video and audio intelligence innovations that silences background noise and generative AI technologies that deliver written recaps of your meeting. Webex innovations are also transforming customer service interactions by empowering live agents with AI to get the right answers instantly. These are just a few of the ways AI is transforming how our customers work.
Customer experience was a key theme of many of this year’s events, with more customers realizing the importance of providing a seamless work environment to motivate employees and boost productivity. As Cisco’s Snorre Kjesbu told the audience in Orlando in March: “Customer expectations are higher than ever before. If you don’t have the ability to satisfy them in milliseconds, you will lose them.”
Webex integration partners are indispensable to transforming the customer experience and driving our collective success. Partners are creating the essential missing pieces that take the friction out of the hybrid workplace and turn it from a mandate into a magnet.
The show floors and demo booths were teeming with Webex partners and customers at this year’s events. Michael Isatchenko, Technical Solutions Specialist at Cisco, said that visitors to his demo booth at Cisco Live Melbourne were focused on sustainability and how it enables a better hybrid experience. Partners were impressed that Cisco is committed to achieving net zero emission by 2040.
At Cisco Live Amsterdam, a steady stream of customers and partners stopped by the Webex Showcase to explore the latest partner-built applications. “We had a lot of attendees coming to see our partner application experiences this week,” said Pablo Palomo, Technical Solutions Architect. “Many were interested in calling applications, recording and compliance capabilities, meetings intelligence and productivity applications.” Embedded apps were also a hot topic in the booths.
Amsterdam: Showcasing Webex Application and Integration Partners
During Enterprise Connect in Orlando, “there was a constant buzz of conversation and excitement,” said Bobby McGonigle, Technical Marketing Engineer with Cisco, who said customers loved the Webex demonstrations that showcased call recording, virtual collaboration, and AI applications. “It was really exciting to see the level of customer interest.”
At Cisco Live Las Vegas in June, the Webex Partner and Integrations booth was jampacked with customers eager to learn how Webex and its partners are improving the efficiency and experience of applications that employees are using every day. Sheshadri Mookherjee, Senior Product Manager at Cisco, said that customers were particularly interested in applications that enabled call recording as well as applications that enhance the Webex Contact Center customer experience. Over in the World of Solution’s Collaboration Village, more than 20 Webex integration partners engaged directly with customers to showcase how their solutions can address customer business needs and challenges.
The innovation continues with a host of new applications experience from the Webex integration partners. Partners that continue to transform the way our customers work on a daily basis.
Webex partner integrations continue to expand platform capabilities.
Since Cisco Live in Las Vegas, partners have contributed lots of new integration and application experiences to Webex App Hub. These include:
