Webex Go gains momentum with AT&T to provide service to their customers

With widespread adoption of hybrid and remote work, enterprise mobility is core to all businesses. It is even more critical to offer the best communications experience—usability and quality—to the users on their mobile devices. That’s why Webex has been reimagining the calling experience for hybrid work. Webex Go Webex Suite

As part of this evolution, we announced at Enterprise Connect the general availability of Webex Go in the U.S. Webex Go is an industry first capability that extends your Webex business phone system to any mobile device, including your personal phone. Cisco announced this innovation at Webex One in October 2021.

With the exciting launch of Webex Go, AT&T has also announced they are joining forces with Cisco to make this mobile solution available to their customers. AT&T will be the first mobile operator for Webex Go and will enable Webex Go for their business mobile plan and Webex Suite customers. More details to come in the coming months. “The future of work continues to be a moving target. Customers need the right tools to not only support their workforce strategy, but also to provide flexibility to adapt when things change. Webex Go is a critical tool for users of Webex Calling with AT&T to address their needs today and prepare for tomorrow,” says Rosa Maria Boza, vice president, Voice and Collaboration, AT&T Business.

With Webex Go, users connect their Webex Calling number to their personal mobile phone, giving them the ability to use the phone’s native dialer to make and receive high quality business calls on a cellular network, without having to manage, pay or worry about corporate policies on that personal device. No app is required because the customer is using the native dialer on their iPhone. IT admins can centrally manage users in Control Hub providing enterprise-level control and security. Webex Go is an add-on to Webex Calling and with this partnership it will be available through AT&T to customers.

With more than 45 million global users and 8 billion calls a month – Cisco is working to deliver a next-gen calling experience through our ongoing innovation and partnerships, like with AT&T.
