Yesterday was a big day for Cisco! With the kickoff of Day 1 of our second annual users conference, WebexOne 2021, where we announced groundbreaking new hybrid work innovations across the Webex ecosystem to help the industry reimagine #hybridwork from home, from the office, or from anywhere in between. This year we drank our own champagne by hosting #WebexOne on our very own events platform, Socio (now part of Webex).
It was super exciting to see our CEO Chuck Robbins open WebexOne with an overview of the world of Hybrid Work, followed by EVP and GM of Collaboration and Security Jeetu Patel unveiling our Hybrid Work Strategy. Cisco EVP/GM of Enterprise Networking and Cloud Todd Nightingale shared a glimpse into transformative hardware innovations from Meraki, ThousandEyes and DNA Spaces. Webex Devices VP and GM Snorre Kjesbu announced new Webex devices that are unparalleled in the industry, including the game changing portable Webex Desk Mini.
Webex and Apple have long been collaborators, and today we heard about the next phase of our amazing partnership. Jeetu Patel sat down with Apple’s Worldwide Business and Enterprise leader Thomas Tan for an engaging talk about security, enterprise, and the new native app we are bringing to market.
