Build bridges between business contacts and human relationships in your video conference meetings

Keeping tabs on everyone you collaborate with can be tough, and finding the time to learn more about new clients or colleagues is even tougher. It’s easy to inadvertently let existing relationships go stale or get off on the wrong foot with someone new. Luckily there are a few different ways that People Insights for Cisco Webex makes it easy to build relationships with your contacts.

Catch up on the latest news and announcements.

Never be caught flat-footed with the most recent news articles available in People Insights profiles. Maybe your contact just received an award or spoke at a big event—here’s your chance to recognize their achievement! You’ll also find the latest news and stock price for your contact’s company, which can help you set an appropriate tone during your interactions.

Make personal connections.

With employment and education backgrounds available within People Insights, it’s easier than ever to find common ground to help you build a stronger connection. For example, if you and a new client both attended the same university or worked at the same company earlier in your careers, you’ll already have the perfect conversation starter.

Learn more about your coworkers.

Starting a project with someone from another team within your company? Their People Insights profile includes helpful information from your company’s internal directory, like their title and reporting structure, so you can quickly gain the context you need to help get things moving. This information is only visible to people within your organization.

Put your best foot forward.

Don’t forget that the people you collaborate with can view your People Insights profile, too! Take a few minutes to review and edit your profile, ensuring everything is filled out and up-to-date. Going the extra mile to include some of your current projects or special skills is a great way to stand out, and helps the people you work with get to know you better.

People Insights is available in Webex Teams and the desktop and mobile versions of Webex Meetings. Check out the People Insights adoption toolkit to get started.
