With this solution, we are happy to offer Enterprise customers the flexibility, backed by security to join Webex Meetings from anywhere, on any Chrome device using Chrome OS.

Here at Cisco, we know that simple, secure and effective meetings remain a top business priority. On average, 37% of employee’s time is spent in meetings so as the workplace becomes more fluid in definition, employees need increased flexibility in how, when and where they get work done. So being a part of this program gives us quicker access to the Chrome APIs allowing us to improve integrations and give Chrome users the best possible experience of Webex Meetings.

So What Does this Solution Mean for Your Day to Day Meetings?

A simpler Webex Meeting experience when using Chrome.

You can start, join and schedule Webex Meetings, Events and Training sessions quickly from:

  • Webex Meetings Web App or
  • Webex Meetings Android App for Chromebook
  • Or simply type new into any browser to start a meeting in your personal room

This means you can be right on time for your meetings because there are no downloads to install. Join and connect to your meeting directly from your Chrome browser, from your Android mobile device or from your Chromebook and experience full Webex Meeting functionalities:

  • Video and audio
  • Breakout rooms
  • Co-host capabilities

You can even add additional flair to your meetings with custom virtual backgrounds and optimized screen and video sharing!

Webex Meetings is also integrated with Google Cloud, enabling you to use Google Calendar, Google Assistant and Google Home devices with Webex to schedule, start and join your Webex Meetings.
