PGA of Australia and Cisco Webex Partner to Drive Innovation, Inclusivity and Inspiration

Off the back of Cisco Webex’s recently announced partnership with The McLaren Formula 1 Team I am thrilled to announce a new and truly innovative relationship with the Professional Golfers Association (PGA) of Australia.

Bringing Australia’s Leading Male and Female, Pro and Amateur Golfers Together in the One Tournament

Cisco Webex and the PGA of Australia are teaming up to present “The Players Series,’ a new series of tournaments that brings Australia’s leading male and female golf professionals, together with elite amateur junior golfers to compete in the same field for the same prize purse. Throughout The Players Series, technology is being used to enrich the experience for the tournaments junior golfers by connecting them directly to professionals in various mentoring opportunities on and off the course. One example of this is, is from the first tournament held earlier this month where they were coached in real time on the course by professionals Marc Leishman and Hannah Green, via Webex. An experience which otherwise wouldn’t be possible in the current world we live.

Athletes, fans, organizers and broadcasters will all benefit from having exclusive access to the event via immersive video experiences, irrespective of where they are in the world.
