MEETINGS

More engaging Slido polls
Slido polls are a fun and engaging way to interact with your audience. In this release, we are adding more fun and visual capabilities by introducing emoticons and the ability to add images directly into polls.

Improved meeting accessibility
To provide a more inclusive meeting experience for those with hearing disabilities and empower them to actively participate in discussions, we are giving users the ability to turn on closed captioning with the click of a button, instead of relying on the host or Webex Assistant.

MESSAGING

Secure B2B: FedRAMP support for guest conversations
Earlier this month we announced Webex for Defense – and IL5 FEDRAMP solution.
We are continuing to expand secure communication solutions to cover B2B communications and increase efficiency for FedRAMP users. With this latest industry first innovation, FedRAMP users can securely and seamlessly collaborate with suppliers and partners in the spaces they create.

CONTROL HUB, SECURITY AND EDGE SERVICES

Control Hub
You can now view and sort your deployed peripherals, including Cisco 500 Headsets, that are connected to MPP phones in Control Hub.

End-to-End Verified ID
E2E verified identity – keeping your conversations confidential is not just sufficient and Webex is providing strong E2E assurance of who you are talking to, and that no one has tampered with that identity or is an impersonator. This is done by a trusted certificate authority similar to how ecommerce and secure content is served via browsers. Attendees’ identity can be visually identified through security icons on the screen. For more details, read the latest help article.

Troubleshooting for large meetings and Webex Events
We continue to add more troubleshooting capabilities to Control Hub to help you better manage and support your organization.
This month, we added troubleshooting to support large meetings and Webex Events. This new capability allows you to quickly work with participants and panelists to troubleshoot any issues before they have a negative impact on your meeting or event. We have also added an indicator for noise removal and virtual background in Troubleshooting, so you know when participants have either enabled in their meeting. Learn more here
