Earlier this year, Webex Calling launched a new data center in Brazil to service the South American market. This local PoP (Point of Presence) provides enhanced call quality and reduced latency for Webex Calling customers in the region.
We’ve also expanded our PSTN options in the Americas with our Cloud Connect for Webex Calling program. Cloud Connect gives our customers the flexibility to select cloud PSTN services on a location-by-location basis from a world-class selection of Certified Calling Providers.
With this expanded coverage, our customers can now select from 12 Certified Calling Providers that offer service in 15 countries including: Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Mexico, and Uruguay. Read more about our providers and their coverage here.
For even more flexibility, Webex Calling customers can select our Local Gateway option for service in over 40 countries in the Americas. Local Gateway allows customers to bring their own carrier (BYOC) to simplify migrations to the cloud.
We’re excited to support our customers in the Americas with new infrastructure and flexible PSTN options. To learn more about Webex Calling or request a demo contact our sales team.
