As hybrid work flourishes, Cisco Live 2022 will showcase, with both in-person and virtual events, how Webex lets people securely connect, collaborate, and innovate from anywhere.

Live events are back, and I personally cannot wait to get to Cisco Live 2022. I recently returned to Cisco (after having started my career here), and I’m excited to share with customers and partners the advancements and powerful collaboration innovation I see coming out of Webex—especially during this era of hybrid work. If there was ever a time to be all in, it’s for Cisco Live 2022, June 12-16. As the live event returns to the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, Cisco will simultaneously host robust virtual events and activities—truly reflecting the reality that is hybrid work. With some 15,000 attendees expected, in-person or remote attendees can experience conference keynotes, sessions, and demonstrations in real time at Cisco Live. For me, Cisco Live is an opportunity to amplify how Webex addresses the challenges hybrid work presents to today’s businesses of all sizes. At Webex, hybrid work is just business as usual, and we are excited to share our insights and innovations into how our customers and partners can benefit from greater collaboration and productivity with our market-leading technologies. Cisco Live also provides a platform for us to display products and technologies that can help businesses more successfully equip offices and employees for the return to in-person workspaces. The timing couldn’t have been better, honestly. Let me break down the five reasons I know you will want to go all in at Cisco Live 2022.

Hybrid work advances

It’s no secret that some businesses were prepared for the work reality the pandemic represented and that others struggled to respond, putting short-term measures in place to enable remote work and help employees collaborate during unprecedented times. But now is the time to update hybrid work strategies to align with how your business needs to operate. As more businesses open office doors, it’s time to consider how to deliver the same collaboration experience to employees working from headquarters, home, or a hotel. At Cisco Live, Webex will highlight how our technology not only powers hybrid work experiences but also can help your business return to in-person operations. We will share insights into collaboration that support:
  • Reimagined workspaces that allow you to transform meeting rooms into collaboration hubs for engaging teamwork, offering experiences employees love in and out of the office.
  • Flexible workstyles that are enabled by reliable calling on every network, seamless mobile experiences, and cloud calling that ensures you can work from anywhere on any device.
  • Manageability and security that is provided through a single dashboard to accelerate problem solving with visibility across all workspaces.
From new office environments to advanced meeting capabilities and seamless calling experiences, Webex is ready to help you create the workspaces your employees and business needs to succeed.

Livestreamed keynote presentations

Cisco Live has no shortage of engaging speakers sharing their thoughts on how hybrid work will continue to shape businesses. Across several keynotes, Cisco executives will detail how innovation will drive positive change for generations to come.

Keynote: All In

To kick off the conference, Chair and CEO Chuck Robbins along with other Cisco technology leaders will host a dynamic session to highlight the latest innovations to help you now and in the future. The leaders will explain how critical inclusivity is for businesses, governments, people, and everyone as we head into a future not limited by physical offices or outdated technology. With enhanced security and collaboration from Webex, coupled with the powerful networking technologies of Cisco, we can create an inclusive future for all.

Keynote: Vision for the Future

Cisco leaders will follow with another keynote presentation that will lay out how businesses can devise strategies now that will successfully carry them into the future. At Webex, we understand that you are not just delivering value with your business, but you are also creating solutions to be more resilient and continue to make a positive impact. And for Mindy Kaling fans, during this keynote she will discuss the importance of representation and her journey to build inclusive spaces through her work.

IT Leadership Session: Reimagining Hybrid Workspaces

During this session, Javed Kahn, SVP/GM, Collaboration, Cisco Systems, Inc., will be joined by Edward Green, Head of Commercial Technology, McLaren Racing Ltd., to share how F1 racing legend McLaren has excelled at hybrid work with the help of Webex. Because hybrid work is different and more complex than it has ever been, Cisco has been working to reimagine hybrid workspaces and styles to meet the flexibility and security requirements IT leaders need to be successful. Join this session to learn more about how McLaren Racing’s Green has implemented Cisco solutions to drive amazing experiences for its teams.

Keynote: Empowering an Inclusive IT Future

As part of the IT Leadership track at Cisco Live, Jacqui Guichelaar will discuss with attendees how IT leaders have ascended to a new level of responsibility in redefining business, the workspace, and customer and employee experiences. The past two years of adversity shone a spotlight on how IT is the foundation for business future growth. Innovative technology strategies powered through bold IT decisions will help drive productivity, innovation, and future growth.

Innovation spotlight

For Webex, hybrid work is everything. I remember using Webex from my previous role at Cisco years ago, and let me tell you, this is a whole new and amazing experience. This collaboration innovation from Webex is what made the difference between businesses that thrived during the pandemic and those that just survived. It is also the reason I came back to Cisco. During a time when people were scrambling to connect, Webex became the industry-leading collaboration platform that enables meetings, messaging, video conferencing, hybrid events, seamless cloud calling from any device, and more. During the innovation talk, Thriving in a Hybrid Work World, Javed Khan, SVP/GM of Collaboration and Chris Stori, SVP/GM of Engineering at Cisco will explain why businesses and organizations need to do more than just navigate this evolving hybrid work landscape. It’s no longer enough to just survive. This talk will illustrate how Webex will help businesses address key priorities. Today’s priorities for business leaders are clear: flexibility for workforces and optimized workspaces to deliver consistent, smarter experiences at home, in the office, and anywhere in between. Cisco is uniquely positioned to help you succeed with hybrid work. From our broad technology portfolio to our first-hand experience as a hybrid work pioneer, Cisco helps you reimagine every workspace and enable any work style and meeting type.

Webex LEAP

One innovation showcase particularly important to me is the Webex Innovation/LEAP space. At Cisco Live, Webex is going to create a space where our innovation comes to life featuring experiences that flex our industry-leading technology and integration muscle, with brands like Google, Ford, Apple and more. This will also be where we showcase our innovation initiative Webex LEAP, our in-house accelerator where next-generation ideas come to life. Webex LEAP demonstrates our dedication to fostering and nurturing innovation to further technological advances that improve work environments and people’s day-to-day lives. For instance, Vidcast is our first LEAP innovation. It is a video messaging tool that makes it easy to record videos, share them with teammates or customers, and quickly get feedback on the content—helping distributed teams collaborate more effectively, and get time back in their day. And we have a lot more planned. We will also share our innovative third-party technology integrations via Webex App and Webex Devices in the Webex Hybrid Work integration partner showcase. These integrations are with partners and customers to advance technology innovation as well as business initiatives.

Product solution overview (PSO) sessions and World of Solutions demonstrations

Underpinning the business journey through hybrid work are Webex product solutions. We plan to use Cisco Live to give attendees a fresh look at the latest of our collaboration technologies. Throughout the show, attendees can join several sessions that will educate and engage them on relevant business topics and the technology Webex offers to address them. These are the Cisco Live 2022 sessions featuring Webex solutions: Demo areas in the World of Solutions will focus on how businesses can balance work-from-office realities as well as support work-from-home employees by delivering the same experiences across locations. From calling innovations that enable seamless connections across all devices to meeting rooms with smart scheduling and airplay options that let employees meet in person or remotely with ease. I mentioned five areas in which I know Webex will wow you, but there’s so much more to explore at the conference. Cisco Live is a great opportunity to see in-person, or via virtual demonstrations, how our innovative devices and collaboration technologies will support and enable your vision for business success. We have solutions for today and product innovations that will carry your business into the future. If any of what I’ve discussed here interests you, there is still time to register for Cisco Live 2022. Many of the activities, events, demos, and information will also be available virtually if travel is not an option for you right now. Please register for Cisco Live 2022 now and join us to learn more about how Webex innovation is the answer to hybrid work for your business.
