Webex Calling delivers enterprise-grade cloud calling to over 15 million users across 170+ countries around the world. To support our growing global installed base, we’re excited to announce the launch of a second calling data center in the UK. This expansion supports our enterprise customers and partners in the UK by providing improved service reliability, enhanced compliance, and solutions for evolving regulatory requirements post-Brexit.
Our new Webex Calling data center is located in Manchester and complements our existing data center in London. Both UK data centers support multi-tenant and Dedicated Instance deployment models for Webex Calling. The addition of Cisco’s second UK data center for Webex Calling ensures that both active and redundant calling media and signaling data remains within the UK region.
Our second UK data center will benefit Webex Calling customers in commercial and enterprise markets, as well as regulated industries such as finance and government, that require calling (media and signaling) data to reside in the UK.
Webex Calling is committed to delivering high quality, secure, reliable, and compliant enterprise-grade cloud calling services to our customers around the globe. The launch of our second UK data center follows the recent launch of media PoPs in the United Arab Emirates, Brazil, and South Korea. Over the next calendar year, we have plans to further expand our data center footprint to provide ongoing service improvements to our global Webex Calling installed base.
