I am excited to announce that we now offer full data residency in Australia, New Zealand. and Pacific Island nations. This expansion provides in-country data processing and storage across dedicated Webex cloud locations in Sydney and Melbourne, with faster performance and regulatory compliance.
Previously Webex Calling services were already hosted in Sydney and Melbourne datacenters, and Webex meetings & Webinar primary datacenter were hosted in Sydney. With this latest expansion, we have also established backup datacenter for Webex Meetings and Webinars in Melbourne.
Our data centers in Sydney and Melbourne now provides data residency for Webex Meetings and Webinar, Webex Calling, Webex Messaging, Polling & Q&A (Slido), Translation & Transcription, as well as identity, analytics, key management, logs and more. In addition, Webex AI Agent and Assistant that can rewrite messages, translate conversations, or summarize discussions in meetings, calling and messages, now also supports data processing and AI generated data in Australia.
