Webex Application and Integration Partners are driving digital transformation, hybrid work, and sustainability across EMEA at Cisco Live Amsterdam
It’s been three years since Cisco customers and partners gathered together in Barcelona in 2020 and the excitement of returning to an in-person conference was palpable this month at Cisco Live in Amsterdam. “Since we were last together, we have turbocharged digitization across many industries, from transportation and healthcare to education and energy, to sports and entertainment,” said Wendy Mars, President Cisco EMEA. “At Cisco, we are All IN on creating an inclusive and sustainable future for all.”
The rapid adoption of hybrid work during and after the pandemic was among the major themes of the Amsterdam event. “Attendance is no longer a proxy for productivity,” Wendy told the crowd. Javed Khan, SVP and General Manager, Cisco Collaboration, shared his perspective on how Cisco is helping improve hybrid work in three areas: reimagining workspaces, optimizing collaboration, and enabling end to end protection.
“Hybrid work is still an experiment,” Javed said. “It’s both harder and different.” Webex will be integral to making the hybrid work experience better and easier not only for employees but for customers as well, he said. Optimizing collaboration is about more than just meetings, he added, but about everything the Webex Suite delivers, including calling, messaging, meetings, Webinars, events, and asynchronous video to transform the experience of employees. “The same Webex platform can also help you transform the customer experiences,” he said.
Webex application and integration partners are indispensable to transforming the customer experience and driving our collective success. Partners create the essential missing pieces that take the friction out of the hybrid workplace and turn it from a mandate into a magnet.
Showcasing Webex Application and Integration Partners
Webex ecosystem partners had a great showing in the World of Solutions at Cisco Live Amsterdam, where customers and conference-goers mingled with Webex experts and got a glimpse of how partners are transforming the customer experience. A variety of partner applications were demo’d and represented at the Webex Showcase, highlighting the diverse and growing partner ecosystem.
A steady stream of customers and partners stopped by the Webex Showcase to see demonstrations of partner applications. The booth was buzzing with conversations around the latest apps. “We had a lot of attendees coming to see our partner application experiences this week,” said Pablo Palomo, Technical Solutions Architect. Many were interested in calling applications, recording and compliance capabilities, meetings intelligence and productivity applications.”
Ease and simplicity were key themes circulating among customer discussions at the booth as well. “People were most interested in how simple it is to share Embedded Apps in a meeting, with only one person needing to be signed into that application, and the rest of the participants able to collaborate freely within the meeting,” said Bobby McGonigle, Technical Marketing Engineer. “Embedded Apps really simplifies a group’s workflow and makes the meeting more engaging. And the fact we have so many Embedded Apps available on Webex App Hub for businesses makes it easy for people to learn about and expand the toolset and discover new apps right there in the Webex application experience.”
Webex Partners Take to the Stage
Many of our Webex partners joined or were showcased in multiple DevNet on-stage sessions at Cisco Live Amsterdam. These partners included BroadSource, Kaltura and TollRing, 11sight, Hyperstack, Mindtickle, Morgen, Vection, Imagicle, Raddle and New Wave Workspace.
