Tom Wingfield is a consultant to Cisco managing product marketing for Webex’s government and public sector markets. In this role, Tom is creating market plans that define profitable market segments, messaging and strategies for growing this key business. Along with the product and marketing teams, Tom has defined opportunities to grow Webex through marketing programs that inform and demonstrate the value of Webex to government agencies and contractors.
Tom’s experience includes over 30 years in Engineering, Sales and Marketing of technology products and services. Having worked at large corporations such as 3M Company and NEC and numerous startups, Tom has experience in marketing programs and campaigns to both technical and managerial audiences. At Webex Tom is creating webinars, whitepapers, ebooks, datasheets, and blogs for Webex customers to understand how to improve their communications while protecting information from cyber-attacks.
Tom lives in Poplar Grove Illinois and enjoys kayaking, hiking and golf.
