What's new with Webex's rich Partner Ecosystem?

On By Kevin Adamson3 Min Read

Webex has spent many years building a deep, rich & broad Partner Ecosystem, and you may be asking “So what’s new here”? The answer lies in how we provide the ability to connect Cisco’s enterprise customers and partners with these solutions.

“Complex ISV ecosystem programs don’t work for everybody and so we knew we needed to change the model”, says Kevin Adamson, Senior Manager of Ecosystem Partner Success. We wanted to allow a broader segment of the ecosystem an opportunity to engage with our partners and sellers in a simple, low-friction way, with the goal of extending their reach into new lines of business and at the same time showcasing the beauty of Webex.

Why now?

With many third-party collaboration integrations for end users, selection can be a minefield. Webex has taken a different approach, deciding to open up to our customers only those that have powerful hybrid work use cases and enhance the power of using Webex as your collaboration platform of choice.

Which partners have been selected to join?

In the first release of this program, three partners were selected. All three extend our hybrid collaboration experiences making it easier to get work done. BasicOps, a project management software that enables productive meetings. Beautiful.ai and Alleo extend the use of our market-leading video devices to a new level of collaborative working. These product trials are available to new and existing customers of Webex today when they order paid Collaboration services or are renewing. See more about these three partners below:

1. BasicOps

Everyone needs to get work done, no matter where and how they work. BasicOps isn’t just a regular Project Management tool, it provides a digital, real-time, feature-rich way to centrally collaborate, efficiently, and in context with distributed teams. Manage projects, translate tasks to timelines, stay on top of key milestones and dependencies all from one place, and seamlessly integrate with Webex as an embedded app.

“I’m thrilled to be part of the Webex trial program allowing anyone to enjoy the Webex and BasicOps integration. BasicOps and Webex make an excellent team, enabling people to collaborate on projects, tasks, and notes right within Webex Meeting and Spaces”

Jesper Schultz, Founder and CEO, BasicOps

2. beautiful.ai

beautiful.ai is an online presentation tool that helps users create visually appealing and professional-looking slides with ease. It offers a range of pre-designed templates and smart features to streamline the design process, allowing users to focus on content rather than formatting. The platform aims to simplify and enhance the presentation creation experience for individuals and teams.

“This partnership allows two best-in-class solutions to work together seamlessly, driving faster and clearer communication for businesses everywhere.”

Crystal Brown, VP Partnerships at beautiful.ai

3. Alleo

Alleo allows multiple participants to share content simultaneously in virtual meetings, fostering a more interactive and dynamic meeting environment, and empowering team members to engage actively and share their thoughts, ideas, and insights in real-time. It is hardware agnostic, will run on any type of display, video wall or projection system, and the best part, Alleo is entirely browser-based, so there is no software to install or maintain!

“We are thrilled to be partnering with Cisco to expand on the benefits and use cases of their best-in-class Webex devices.”

Brandon Fischer, CEO and founder at Alleo

* Further ecosystem partners will be added over the coming months so stay tuned for more.*
