This month, we made it easier for you to find a dedicated working area in an open office environment with hot desking, and made sure everyone is equally represented in a meeting with People Focus.
As we embrace a hybrid work model, the need for dedicated, personal seats in the office will drastically reduce. With hot desking for Webex Desk devices, we are allowing end-users to sign in and book any shared Webex desk device using their Webex account to turn that shared device into a personalized collaboration device. After signing in, users can join a meeting using One Button To Push for all of their calendar meetings, and access their whiteboards and recent calls. Users can initiate hot desking sessions with the Webex app.
People Focus
With a mix of in-office and remote attendees, how do we ensure that everyone is represented, and shows up in an optimized way? With People Focus, we are using the intelligence built into our cameras to break down the barriers between people working from home and people working from the office, and optimizing precious screen real estate. We create the best view for every participant, making sure that no one is missing out, and no one is left behind. People Focus is a Webex Meetings feature that is available on cloud-registered Boards and Desk Series devices (excluding Desk Hub and legacy devices) that are running RoomOS 11.
