Webex Calling: reaching new milestones at Enterprise Connect 2023

The Webex Calling team just returned from Orlando, Florida, where we spent four days at Enterprise Connect 2023, the collaboration event of the year. We look forward to this event every year, and cherish the opportunity to meet our customers, partners, and industry peers. This year’s Enterprise Connect didn’t disappoint – it was a week packed with exciting launches, informative sessions, and interactive demos.

We were thrilled at the opportunity to once again deliver a keynote at Enterprise Connect. This year, Snorre Kjesbu, SVP & GM of Cisco Collaboration Devices, and Jono Luk, VP, of Product Management, Contact Center, Security & Management took to the stage to celebrate a new milestone: Webex Calling now has over 10 million (and growing) users around the world. Webex Calling demos at Enterprise Connect 2023

We packed lots of exciting demos in our Webex booth in the exhibition floor, including 5 powerful demos for Webex Calling. Thanks to the many attendees who visited us – it was a privilege to meet you and give you an opportunity to try out our latest Webex Calling innovations live.

Webex Calling for Microsoft Teams

One of our most popular demos was Webex Calling for Microsoft Teams. This powerful integration makes the complete Webex Calling feature set accessible directly within the Teams interface, eliminating the need to switch back and forth between applications.

Webex Calling for Chrome

Attendees also loved Webex Calling for Chrome, which delivers Webex Calling through a convenient Chrome extension. Webex Calling for Chrome supports any desktop Chrome browser, including Windows, Mac, and ChromeOS platforms.

Webex Go

Fixed-mobile convergence was a hot topic this year at Enterprise Connect. Our take on this industry trend was on display with Webex Go, which adds Webex Calling line as the second line on a personal mobile phone (Android or iOS) providing you with a secure and fully compliant calling experience.

Group Call Management

Customer experience was a key area of focus at Enterprise Connect. We received lots of attention for Group Call Management, our call center that’s included with Webex Calling out of the box at no additional fee.

We were excited to demo a new feature for Group Call Management: noise removal for external callers. This industry-first feature improves the productivity of call centers by enabling agents to remove noise from the customer’s side of the call, even if the caller is not a Webex user. This powerful feature will allow agents to focus on the conversation and resolve customer’s issue quickly.

Webex Calling partners

Visitors to the Webex booth also had an opportunity to check out our Webex Calling partners. Attendees were able to see our powerful call recording integration with partners like Dubber, CallCabinet, and Imagicle. Webex also announced a new partnership with Zello, the world’s leading provider of push-to-talk technology.

After spending four days with the current and future customers/partners, I am leaving fully energized that the Webex Calling momentum and our innovative features are getting noticed by the industry! Thanks to everyone who helped to make this year’s Enterprise Connect a huge success. As one event comes to an end, we are now gearing up with lots of exciting news at our flagship Cisco Live event in June in Las Vegas, so stay tuned and see you there.
