Webex Suite Feature
Webex Suite free users can sign up online and now discover all the apps in the suite via a new waffle menu. The waffle menu makes it simpler to access more capabilities from our collaboration apps and get more value to support the way teams work. This new experience will further enhance productivity and increase efficiency for Webex Suite online users by being able to switch between suite apps. Hybrid work is here to stay, and Webex Suite is the best-in-class suite to enable teams of all types. The free version of Webex Suite unifies our collaboration apps in one single product experience. In each suite web app, free online users will see a waffle menu in the top right corner of the screen. When clicked, users will choose from a menu of the apps that you can click and use. After you’ve clicked an app, you will then be able to log in with your Webex credentials and use the app. Previously, users would have had to open a separate window to open the other apps and log in separately.

Easy access to Vidcast — our asynchronous video messaging solution

Today, the waffle menu will provide an easy way to use Vidcast, our app to asynchronously record video messages to share anywhere. This app has capabilities that drive stronger engagement and productivity while reducing the need for more meetings. Vidcast can be used by: sales teams to record demos to prospects; product teams to run design reviews; and executives to share org announcements. The app allows you to record your video while sharing your screen, adding a personal touch when communicating asynchronously. For example, it’s fantastic for customer support to share a quick how-to video to answer customer questions. Vidcast enables quick, clear communication and collaboration with the ease of video.

More Suite Apps Coming to the Waffle

Webex has several collaboration apps (Whiteboard, Socio, Slido, and others) in its portfolio that enables a richer hybrid work experience for customers. In the future, we will add these apps to the waffle menu making it easier to discover and use them in a cohesive product experience. For now, we are excited about all the ways you will use Vidcast and Webex together!
