This December, Cisco devices are unveiling a winter wonderland with our brand-new theme that’s sure to brighten up your day.
Winter Wonderland Home Screen
Outside of your calls and meetings, enjoy a serene and wintry home screen adorned with snowy landscapes and cheerful winter visuals. On touch-enabled devices such as the Cisco Board Pro- and Cisco Desk Series, swipe up from the bottom of the screen to see your task switcher and another snowy surprise!
Seasonal Reactions in Webex meetings
Express yourself in meetings with reactions that are all dressed up for winter. From polar bears to cookies, your interactions will be more fun than ever.
How to Enable the December Theme
For those of you enjoying a warmer climate this December, you might find this chilly (but very festive!) theme intriguing but not quite necessary. That’s why it’s off by default.
To bring the winter magic to your devices, admins must go to Devices in Control Hub and configure the following:

Once this configuration is set, it will remain active for December in all future years, so you can enjoy the winter theme without needing to reconfigure annually.
Please note: December reactions are specifically supported on RoomOS 11 devices. If you send a December reaction from a RoomOS 11 device, users on the Webex app, older devices and older builds will see the standard reactions. However, RoomOS 11 devices in version 11.23 will display the full winter-themed reactions during Webex meetings.
When will I see the new theme?
Remember, this theme is exclusively for the month of December. Once enabled by admins, as long as a device is on the December build version 11.23 and the calendar reaches December 1st, you will see the new theme and reactions.
