Last year, we announced 60+ third party applications and launched the Embedded Apps Framework with partners like Smartsheet, Thrive Reset, WorkBoard and others. This made it easier to get work done because the apps you already used could now be used seamlessly right in a Webex meeting or messaging space. No more switching back-and-forth between apps and browsers.
Today, we’re excited to announce that many of the embedded apps you love will soon be available on Webex Desk and Webex Board Series devices powered by RoomOS. For on-the-fly meetings, embedded apps are also available on smartphones, iPads and Android tablets.
Third-party apps — including Miro, MURAL, Slido and Shared Timer — will be natively integrated into Webex devices so users can simply select the app and start using it without having to download anything.

In just a few taps on the Board Pro, you can kickstart a visual brainstorming session with your global team from a shared digital whiteboard. In our experience, you’ll spend less time squinting and pinching and more time fostering great ideas.
Webex Devices MURAL
Running a design thinking workshop on MURAL’s online whiteboard? Good choice. Now you can do it on the go from your iPad or your Android tablet.
Slido
Audience engagement is critical no matter where you are working from. With Slido now as an embedded app, you’ll get to both launch and participate in live polls, Q&A, quizzes, and word clouds regardless of what device you’re on.
Shared Timer
Sometimes creativity is unleashed thanks to time constraints. And sometimes a timer can be the simple tool you need to ensure conversations remain inclusive. With Shared Timer as an embedded app, you can leverage time in whatever way helps you foster better collaboration.
