When we think about hot desking, we immediately consider the security challenges with entering credentials on a shared device. Our design and engineering teams have focused on making hot desking simple and secure.
We wanted to make this workflow simple, so users did not have to think about the process and could easily get the productivity boost they need. Users can now scan a QR code on the device using their mobile phone camera app, which will launch the Webex App and securely sign them into the device. It’s that simple!
When users plug in the USB-C cable to use the device as an external monitor, they will be signed in on the device when they launch the Webex App.
