Unrivaled experiences for government agencies and contractors
As we’ve seen across other industries, government agencies are looking to optimize hybrid work and return to office initiatives, improve online/digital citizen experience, and benefit from safe and secure artificial intelligence capabilities. Webex brings this innovation to the government through enterprise-grade cloud services that provide access to modern features and capabilities, while balancing critical enterprise-grade software requirements such as reliability, scalability, and security.
Webex Contact Center Enterprise for Government, a fully Cisco-managed and operated cloud infrastructure, is scalable to serve the largest of organizations and is based on the proven, market-leading Cisco Unified Contact Center Enterprise (UCCE) architecture that is used by millions of agents.
Later this year, we will be making Webex Calling available as part of the Webex for Government offering. Complementing the currently available Cisco Unified Communications Manager Cloud for Government (UCMC-G), Webex Calling offers the resiliency and scalability of multi-tenant cloud, provides a single unified management portal through Webex Control Hub, and provides built-in artificial intelligence for noise removal and voice optimization. Webex Calling recently announced over 11M+ users worldwide and continues to gain traction as the industry-leading cloud calling solution for enterprises and government.
The most advanced security
FedRAMP is a government-wide program that provides a standardized approach to security assessment, authorization, and continuous monitoring for cloud products and services. This program is designed to improve security and reduce risk for government agencies that use cloud services, and it is a critical requirement for many federal agencies and contractors.
Webex for Government and Webex Contact Center Enterprise for Government operate as FedRAMP authorized U.S. trusted cloud infrastructure with dedicated processing and storage within restricted data centers located in-country, and adheres to FedRAMP regulations. This solution provides a modern experience to U.S. federal and state agencies.
In addition to meeting the extensive FedRAMP authorization security requirements, Webex stands out as the clear security leader across the collaboration industry. Webex has been ranked best of breed in the National Security Agency’s (NSA) collaboration services guidelines. Key security differentiators include:
- Extended security: Webex’s Extended Security Pack delivers a winning combination of cloud security solutions including Duo Multi-Factor Authentication and Cisco Cloudlock® for data loss prevention in one fully integrated offer that’s FedRAMP authorized.

- Cisco Secure Development Lifecycle: Webex products are designed with Cisco security from the start of development and complete privacy impact assessments, proactive penetration testing, and threat modeling throughout the cycle. Cisco’s Security and Trust organization oversees security and privacy for Webex and publicly discloses security vulnerabilities.
