In October we are keeping it short and sweet with two new features. But they sure pack a punch! We are adding support for yet another language for Webex Assistant and allowing your Webex devices to participate in breakout sessions!
Webex Assistant in German
Webex Assistant gives you a way of controlling your Webex devices by using voice commands. Earlier this year we made Webex Assistant multilingual by introducing support for French and Spanish. We are extending this by making Webex Assistant learn yet another language – German. As always, the Webex Assistant language will follow the language setting on the device, so if you have selected German as language for the device, the Assistant will listen for German. If you want to learn more, you can check out the help article.Breakout Sessions for Devices
We are now making it available for Webex video devices to take part in breakout sessions in Webex Meetings! Hosts or cohosts can split a large meeting into groups where attendees can collaborate and share ideas. When it’s time to wrap up, everyone will be asked to return to the main session. It is super easy for hosts and co-hosts to manage the breakouts – simply use the Webex Meetings client to assign users to groups, rename groups, move attendees between sessions and more. That is it for October, but make sure you attend WebexOne 2021 – register for free here.Learn more What’s new in RoomOS: August update All of the What’s new in RoomOS updates Returning to work with Intelligent Room Capacity Webex Device Management— The power of search!
