Mobility continues to be at the forefront of most organizations’ collaboration strategy in the new era of Hybrid work. Employees are no longer tied to a physical office or their homes to connect and collaborate. Companies need to provide employees with technology and flexibility to help them connect and collaborate from anywhere when using their mobile phones.

To support today’s mobile-centric collaboration, we launched industry-leading Webex Go last year to provide enterprise-grade calling on users’ personal mobile device as a second line. However, many regulated industries such as healthcare and finance are required to provide employees with company owned devices in order to deliver a fully compliant, secure and end-to-end managed collaboration experience.

Today, I am excited to share that Webex and AT&T are joining forces to deliver the next evolution in mobility solutions for those working on the go. This joint partnership extends Webex Calling capabilities to AT&T provided data plans and mobile phones via a single business phone number that becomes your identity for all your Webex Communications. Users will have access to powerful calling features natively from their mobile dialer, no app needed. Say goodbye to siloed and fragmented mobile experiences and get ready to enjoy seamless calling and collaboration anywhere, on any device.
Webex Go with AT&T makes your mobile phone part of the Webex ecosystem and enables you to make and receive calls using your mobile phone’s native dialer while taking advantage of enterprise-grade Webex Calling features. Your business calls will be routed via AT&T’s fast, reliable, secure nationwide 5G network so you can enjoy clear, high-quality audio on every call. You can also seamlessly move your call to the Webex App or a Webex Device without dropping the call to share content or collaborate on a video meeting.
This solution eliminates the need for a traditional fixed business line and help companies simplify their mobile strategies leading to cost savings. It is also great for administrators as they can easily provision and manage these mobile devices in the Webex Control Hub with access to real-time troubleshooting and analytics.
We are committed to delivering thoughtful innovations that our customers need to seamlessly connect and collaborate from anywhere. Webex is the only vendor in the market providing you with flexibility and choice to support your mobile workers – whether you choose the BYOD approach via Webex Go, or look to provide a fully compliant and managed mobile device via Webex Go with AT&T.
