Gergely Lukacsy is a Principal Engineer and Lead Architect for the Cisco AI Agent and the broader cloud-based Cisco Contact Center portfolio. He has been with Cisco since 2010 and has played key roles across multiple products, including Cisco Jabber and the Webex App. His current work centers on shaping the architecture of Cisco’s real-time AI Agent platform, with a strong focus on achieving industry-leading latency, reliability, and end-to-end conversational quality.
Before joining Cisco, Gergely earned an MSc and PhD in Computer Science and worked in academia on semantic search, formal reasoning, and related areas. This background continues to influence his approach to applied AI and large-scale distributed system design.
Outside of engineering, Gergely enjoys sharing knowledge, mentoring colleagues, and contributing to internal architecture forums. He lives on the East Coast of the United States with his wife and three children.
