Two female hands interconnected
As the mother of two young women embarking on their careers as creators and influencers, I see the power in supporting and helping women-led and women-founded businesses. This is why I am thrilled to announce the newest Webex partnership with the Female Founder Collective! Global fashion designer and entrepreneur Rebecca Minkoff and start-up veteran Alison Wyatt created Female Founder Collective (FFC) as a non-profit platform designed to provide connections, education, and pathways for women ready to command their own business aspirations and make meaningful connections. Today, Webex and FFC are kicking off a $20,000 joint business grant initiative for FFC members and female entrepreneurs, culminating with a virtual event on September 21. There, finalists will pitch in front of a live virtual audience of hand-picked and hand-curated investors from influential venture firms across the country, and the winner will be announced the same day. Apply today! Our partnership with FFC continues on September 19, when FFC introduces The North, a new platform that facilitates mentorship sessions with members, female thought leaders, and experts in their field. Along with several other women executives here at Cisco, we’re each donating two hours of our time for free mentoring sessions with members of FFC. Stay tuned for more details!
