Workplace from Facebook and Cisco are Joining Forces to Improve Communication For All Organizations

Building and maintaining connection and community depends upon authentic, transparent leadership across the workforce. This is a huge challenge at this time with most people working remotely, and while some offices are reopening, a hybrid work environment with a mixture of on-site and remote employees is here for the foreseeable future.

At Cisco’s WebexOne event, we announced the partnership of Cisco Webex and Workplace from Facebook. The combination brings together the All New Webex app and Webex devices with Workplace’s reach and engagement capabilities to connect people across the organization wherever they are.

The combination of Workplace, the Webex app and Webex devices, provides leaders with a secure, high-fidelity solution to easily broadcast to anyone across their organization. Additionally, employees will be able to engage in real-time through video, reactions, comments and Q&A, whether they are office-based, working from home or on the frontline.

Driving Experiences that are 10X Better Than In-Person Interactions

This partnership is all part of a wave of Webex innovations to drive experiences that are 10x better than in-person interactions, helping organizations collaborate seamlessly, and to transform their employees and customer experiences to power an inclusive future for everyone. See what Cisco and Facebook had to say about the partnership and seamless, smart hybrid workplace experiences:

“In just a single click, companies will be able to use Cisco’s hardware and software to go live and connect directly with others – turning broadcast experiences into real conversations wherever they are.”- Karandeep Anand, VP of Workplace

“The beauty of this partnership is that we are delivering an end-to-end, video-first engagement solution, across both software and hardware. “With Workplace and Webex, we can offer a powerful solution that serves IT alongside HR and Comms leaders as well as Executive staff, to help them securely reach their entire work community from HQ to frontline.” – Jeetu Patel, Cisco’s Senior VP of Security and Applications
