Webex Devices for Government— Built on Trust
The world works on Webex – from connecting people and enabling teams to running countries. When being physically present has not been possible, I have seen how meetings such as for G7 or the G20 Summit have been conducted on Cisco and Webex Devices. On my recent return to Cisco, it’s top-of-mind why they choose Webex: security, privacy, reliability and a long-standing rapport within world governments that has built trust.
Seamless Integrations for the Most Complete Collaboration Experience for Governments Worldwide
We continue to build on that trust as we’ve just announced our Legislate for Webex and Connected Justice solutions, so that we can further enable legislative and parliamentary bodies as their needs evolve in our current pandemic. That trust, reliability, and security extends across the entire Webex portfolio. Together with our Cisco Webex Devices, we provide the most complete collaboration experience for governments worldwide. That’s why I’m extremely excited we have recently added all our co-creation devices to our portfolio of TAA (Trade Agreements Act) compliancy. We’ve also added our latest products to the JITC (Joint Interoperability Test Command) Approved Products List for our U.S. Department of Defense customers. This means that the Cisco Webex Board and Cisco Webex Desk Pro can now be used where FedRAMP has not been possible, delivering parity in features for on-premise deployments. FedRAMP customers are finally able to enjoy seamless integration with Cisco Webex devices, giving access to intelligent proximity pairing capabilities, allowing you to connect wirelessly to Webex devices to join meetings, share files, make calls and hold presentations.
Cisco’s Courtroom Technology Enables Court Systems to Thrive in the Face of Change
The world of work has changed, with remote work taking the front seat, and the government sector is no different. Cisco Webex devices seamlessly facilitate collaboration whether you’re in the office or working remotely. Room devices, phones, and headsets offer high-quality, feature-rich experiences to collaborate without interruption. You can take my word for it, or you can see for yourself how Elkhart County hears remote cases via Webex leveraging Connected Justice and Webex Devices.
Cisco Headset 730 Meets Highest Level of Security Standards
As I mentioned, at Cisco, security and privacy is at the heart of everything we do, and the Cisco Headset 730 is no different. As a premium Bluetooth headset, we are extremely proud that this is the first and only wireless headset to be allowed in governments. The Headset 730 has enterprise grade hardware and software protection through secure booth and image authentication – adhering to the Cisco Secure Development Lifecycle (CSDL), which ensures the highest level of security standards all throughout a product’s development cycle. This truly is security built-in, not bolted on.
Keeping Governments Connected with Cisco Webex and Webex Devices
These devices are just a sample of all that we’re doing to enable governments during a time when secure, private, and reliable work is required more now than ever. With an entire portfolio of hardware and software certified for government use, it means that they can continue to be connected while physically apart without skipping a beat. When it comes to collaboration, I’ve always had great rapport with leaders and frontline members of government. So, on my return to Cisco, it’s thrilling to be a part of our continued innovation in this area helping those in public service with business resiliency. When governments need to meet, they meet on Cisco Webex and Webex Devices.
