If Webex Integration Partners needed any reason to attend WebexOne in Anaheim, CA last week, they had a lot to choose from, including inspiring presentations from the likes of famed astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson, actor and director Robert De Niro, award-winning film producer Jane Rosenthal, and Arianna Huffington, Founder and CEO of Thrive Global.
And that’s just for starters. The WebexOne gathering – its first-ever hybrid event — gave Webex Integration Partners the opportunity to connect with top industry leaders, Webex experts, and real-world customers covering trending topics across hybrid work and customer experience. The event featured over 40 breakout sessions, 35 technical training courses, and customer speakers from leading brands.
Of course, Webex Integration Partners were in the middle of all the action, sharing their apps and integrations, running demos, and engaging with customers and peers from every industry.
Jeetu Patel, Cisco’s EVP and GM of Security and Collaboration, set the pace by sketching out the vision of Webex in our new hybrid work world. “We are announcing the most consequential set of innovations in the history of Webex,” Jeetu said. These fall under three key initiatives:
Webex has woven Generative AI into all of these efforts, powering our next generation of apps and devices that is making hybrid work a magnet, not a mandate, and transforming the customer experience with awesome new audio, video and text capabilities. “AI is pervasive in everything we do,” Jeetu said. “With AI we are reimagining how communications happen.”
“By adding generative AI to the Webex platform, we’ve been able to create magical experiences,” Javed Khan, Cisco’s SVP & GM, Collaboration, told the in-person and virtual audience. “With the AI-powered Webex Assistant we’re making Webex smarter, more efficient, and easier to use.”
Just about every aspect of communications and collaboration have been enhanced with AI, which leverages the power of next-gen language, audio and video intelligence. You get features like real-time speech to text translations in 120 languages, background noise suppression technology that reduces meeting fatigue, and cinematic meetings that makes participants feel like they’re in the room, even if they’re thousands of miles away. It’s a concept Snorre Kjesbu, Senior Vice President & General Manager of Webex Devices at Cisco, calls Distance Zero.
Webex Partners are at the forefront of this technological revolution, and their solutions harness the power of Webex AI to help their customers increase productivity and extend the power of Webex to more use cases.
Kevin Barrow, Technical Marketing Engineer, said “There was great interaction and excitement about AI as it is central to the show.” The Webex Partners BasicOps, Google Chrome, Imagicle, Journey, Outreach, Pitchub, Salesforce, Seismic, and Variphy were all demoed at the booth. “Customers loved not just the innovation from Webex, but also from our Webex Integration Partners.”
Connie Tang, Senior Director for Product Management, and Devinder Kathuria, Engineering Product Manager, sharing with a large customer audience the depth and breadth of the Webex Integration Partner Ecosystem.
Over the past month Webex Partners have contributed 21 new integrations to the Webex AppHub. These applications include:
