Mobile-first hybrid work with Webex Meetings now on new Samsung Galaxy flagship smartphones

Feb 26, 2023 — Geoffrey Huang

New Webex and Samsung integrations include Mobile Camera Share for Galaxy S23 and optimized collaboration experiences for Galaxy Z Fold 4

For teams to be productive anytime and anywhere in today’s era of hybrid work — flexibility, choice, and adaptable technology matter. With more integrated mobile technologies, hybrid workers can access seamless user experiences that make collaboration easy. Today, as part of Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2023, we’re excited to announce new shared innovations from Webex by Cisco and Samsung that will help hybrid teams get more out of their virtual meetings and team collaboration.

Samsung Galaxy S23 And Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 Now With Webex Meetings

Collaborate on live videos securely from anywhere with Mobile Camera Share

Mobile Camera Share couples industry-first Webex capabilities with high-quality video capture, zoom, and stabilization functionality of Samsung devices. With Mobile Camera Share on Webex Meetings, Samsung mobile users can share their live mobile camera feed as focused meeting content to annotate, co-create and share ideas with remote Webex participants.

Whether joining a meeting while on the go or working in a new space, Mobile Camera Share helps people across any industry work in new collaborative ways. With Webex, write, draw, and add shapes on a shared video feed to review job site progress with clients in real-time instead of relying on static images or screenshots. Healthcare providers can improve health management, making virtual patient consults more interactive, marking up X-rays shown over secure video for diagnosis and follow-ups.

Mobile Camera Share is a helpful tool for more interactive and engaging discussions. For example, using interactive live video to demonstrate the functionality of a product helps to showcase the value and usage in real-time.

Samsung Galaxy S23 And Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 Now With Webex Meetings And Whiteboarding Features

Work smarter with Samsung’s flexible screens for maximum productivity.

Webex Meetings now also enables secure and flexible hybrid work collaboration optimized for the foldable experience of Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4.

Samsung and Webex users can view up to twelve people on the same screen when laid out flat in tablet mode, or choose to fold it at an angle to view people and content simultaneously for multitasking. These flexible modes allow workers to have more choice over their hybrid setup and eliminate the need for multiple mobile devices.

Through the advanced capabilities of Webex Meetings, including versatile sharing methods, picture-in-picture, and whiteboarding combined with the interactive power of the Samsung devices, users can now enjoy more flexibility than ever as they get work done on the go.
